ABOUT ME

Resham Mehta is a passionate Landscape Architect dedicated to expressing ideas and crafting narratives on both built and unbuilt landscapes. Over ten years as a practicing landscape architect, she has designed, developed, and executed landscapes across a range of scales, from private residences to townships, exploring various typologies, including residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, hospitality, and urban greens in different parts of India.
Beyond her professional endeavors, she serves as a visiting faculty member at Sir J.J. College of Architecture, Mumbai for the subject of Landscape Design. Her three and a half years tenure as a visiting faculty member has provided her with an opportunity to engage with future architects. Conversations with students and their perspectives on Landscape Architecture have inspired her to express her ideas on the subject of Landscape Architecture in an evocative and thought-provoking manner.
With an academic background in Architecture from Sir J.J. College of Architecture, Mumbai, a diploma in Horticulture from R.J. College, Mumbai, and a Postgraduate degree in Landscape Architecture from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, she advocates a research-driven approach for all her projects.
Passionate about sharing stories of architectural aspects in landscape, Resham began her blog, ‘The Architecture of Landscapes’ in 2024. As she continued with her writing endeavors, the focus and scope of her research and writing expanded to encompass a broader range of topics which lead to the creation of Terrain Tapestry.
